Mexico Mourns the Loss of Daniel Bisogno, Iconic Ventaneando Host

The Mexican entertainment industry is in mourning following the confirmation of Daniel Bisogno’s passing. The beloved host of Ventaneando died on Thursday, February 20, as announced by Pati Chapoy via her official X (formerly Twitter) account.

“With immense sadness, I inform you that Daniel Bisogno has passed away,” wrote Chapoy, triggering an outpouring of grief and tributes on social media.

Tributes Pour In from the Entertainment Industry

Following the news, colleagues, friends, and celebrities flooded social media with heartfelt messages, sharing memories and celebrating Bisogno’s charisma, wit, and decades-long career in Mexican television.

A Heartfelt Message from His Brother, Alex Bisogno

One of the most emotional tributes came from Alex Bisogno, Daniel’s brother, who shared a family photo on Instagram with the message:

“Nothing will ever separate us.”

The image featured Daniel alongside his daughter Michaela, his father, sister Ivette, and his late mother, Araceli, who passed away years ago.

Throughout Daniel’s health struggles, Alex remained a pillar of support, standing by his side during treatments and ensuring his well-being until the very end.

Who Is Ivette Bisogno? The Private Sister of Daniel Bisogno

Unlike Daniel and Alex, Ivette Bisogno has largely stayed away from the limelight. However, her connection to the entertainment industry dates back to her early career as an edecán (show assistant) on Paco Stanley’s show Una Tras Otra.

In a rare interview for Ventaneando, Ivette recalled her experience working in television and her relationship with Stanley. Though her time in the industry was brief, she remains closely connected to her family, especially her son, who is close in age to Daniel’s daughter, Michaela.

Daniel Bisogno’s Legacy in Mexican Television

With his irreverent humor, bold commentary, and unmistakable charisma, Daniel Bisogno became one of the most influential figures in entertainment journalism. His work on Ventaneando spanned over two decades, making him a staple of Mexican television. His passing leaves a void in the industry, but his legacy will endure through the countless stories he covered, the audiences he entertained, and the impact he had on entertainment reporting in Mexico.
